DESCRIPTION:Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a disease that affects thousands\, but its impact reaches far beyond those diagnosed. In fact\, 1 in 31 people are carriers of the gene that causes CF\, making it a concern that touches nearly every family\, community\, and workplace. When young children with cystic fibrosis struggled to pronounce the name of their disease\, they began calling it "65 Roses." That simple phrase has since become a powerful symbol of strength\, hope\, and the ongoing fight for a cure. In 2018\, we launched the 65 Roses Gala alongside the Boesen family to raise critical funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and its mission to end CF. Since then\, we've raised over $840\,000 and expect to reach $1 million raised by the end of this year bringing us closer to a cure. Today\, children born with CF can expect to live into their 60s\, a dramatic improvement\, but for many adults living with CF\, life is still too short. Last year\, half of those who lost their lives to CF were under the age of 38\, missing out on education\, careers\, families\, and so many of life's milestones. The support of our community has made this progress possible and there's still more to do. We invite you to be part of that progress by joining us at the 65 Roses Gala on Friday\, November 7 at Willow on Grand presented by Boesen the Florist\, Willow on Grand\, and White Willow Events. Whether you attend as a guest\, volunteer\, or make a donation\, your support brings us closer to our $1 million goal. Together\, we can make a lasting impact in the fight against CF.
