Liz is the Health Policy Advisor and Joel is the Tax/Economic Policy Advisor for the Office of Governor Kim Reynolds and Lieutenant Governor Adam Gregg. Liz started in her role June of 2019. Liz's duties in this role are to help support and oversee several state agencies including the Department of Human Services\, Department of Public Health and the Iowa Insurance Division among many additional responsibilities. \n\n \n\nDuring the COVID-19 pandemic\, Liz and her team quickly pivoted to meet the needs of Iowans. She led the statewide nursing facility efforts to help keep the elderly community safe. Quick thinking led to partnerships with the Iowa National Guard\, Iowa Department of Public Health among others.
