DESCRIPTION:Join the West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce at our new government affairs committee called CIVIC CONNECT. This is a nonpartisan group of leaders and connectors who help to provide access\, information\, and proactive engagement that enhances the economic environment of West Des Moines businesses\, and community. This group will:\n\n \n\n	Educate by providing situational awareness and information to members about relevant issues.\n	Engage members with the process and introduce them to the decision makers in the process.\n	Encourage policies that are good for members of the Chamber and the City of West Des Moines.\n\n\n\nWe are looking forward to hosting Senator Chuck Grassley at the July 19th CIVIC CONNECT MEET YOUR SENATOR event from 2:00-3:15 pm at the WDM Chamber. Seating is limited. Feel free to join us for this free\, engaging discussion.
