DESCRIPTION:If you are a fan of the well-known TV show The Amazing Race\, then you will love our spring event: EveryStep's Amazing FundRacer! Teams will embark on a scavenger hunt across Des Moines in a competition against other participants. Along the way\, teams will have to decipher clues\, complete physical and intellectual challenges\, and work together to win! You will need to use your competitive spirit\, creativity\, and knowledge of Des Moines to earn first place!\n\nProceeds from EveryStep's Amazing FundRacer will support at-risk and low-income children and families served by EveryStep. Our programs help families get a healthy start and build a strong foundation for the future. Services include in-home visits\, pre- and postnatal education\, case management\, developmental screenings\, interpretation and more   all at no cost to clients. By eliminating barriers to care and support\, we aim to build stronger families and a stronger community.\n\n \n\nPrizes: Winning times will be calculated on the cumulative amount of time it takes teams to complete each challenge. Drive time between each location will NOT be included in the winning times.\n\n\n	1st place:$500\n	2nd place: $250\n	3rd place: $100\n\n\nRegister by April 29 to be guaranteed an official race shirt for everyone on your team.  Deadline to register is May 8.
