DESCRIPTION:This focus group is limited to members of the following groups: Accelerate\, WDMLA current class and any alumni of WDMLA.\n\nYou are invited to participate in a unique opportunity on February 27th.\n\nIf you have not already heard\, the City of West Des Moines is in the process of updating their comprehensive plan and as part of the ongoing outreach efforts they are touching base with organizations\, associations\, and community groups in the city to get feedback on what the city should be planning for in the future. The City is faced with a lot of tough choices regarding topics such as housing\, transportation\, land use\, and quality of life. The Comprehensive Plan helps provide the guidance for our elected officials to make choices to better the community.  As a member of the Chamber community\, your input is invaluable in helping shape the future of our community and economy. \n\nPlease come join the City in a collaborative focus group session to workshop topics from workforce amenities to economic prosperity.\n\nThe focus group will take place on Wednesday\, February 27th from 4:00-5:15 pm at the WDM Chamber office and a social will immediately follow at Tonic (right across the street).  \n\nThe focus group will be limited to the first 28 respondents.
