DESCRIPTION:According to a survey by the Brookings Institute\, scholars predict that by\n\nthe end of THIS year the United States will be short three million \n\n     college graduates.\n\n \n\nHere in Iowa\, we still need to add more than 120\,000 workers with post-\n\nsecondary degrees or credentials by 2025\, according to a study Iowa \n\ncommissioned from Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce.\n\n \n\nAdd those statistics to our low unemployment rate and it's no \n\nwonder employers just like you are wringing their hands over talent \n\nacquisition and retention challenges.\n\n \n\nThis is why businesses must reach out to high school students   even junior high\n\nstudents - to begin the discussion of future career development.\n\n \n\n\n	What would you say to a high school junior about a career in your industry?  At your workplace?\n	What would you tell teachers about what needs to be taught in the classroom to prepare\n\n\nstudents for the future workforce?\n\n \n\nNow you've got a chance to do both.
