DESCRIPTION:Accelerate Emerging Leaders is proud to partner with Iowa State University Ivy College of Business to offer a four-part educational series targeted toward young professionals titled "The Science of Getting Your Way". \n\nThe series is designed to highlight strategies for gaining influence. Based on the latest scientific data\, each lecture offers a unique aspect of conflict management by uncovering what makes us tick. You will get to know yourself more and better understand those around you while learning the latest in negotiation techniques. \n\nEach session will take place from 4-6 pm at the WDM Chamber of Commerce office (650 S. Prairie View D\, Ste 110) on these dates: February 20\, June 24\, August 12 and October 15. \n\n\n\nSession 2:\n\nWhether you're looking for a raise or trying to close a deal\, good negotiation is critical. Learn how VIPs think and change the way you persuade. This event will:  \n\n\n	Give you research-based insights into how the movers and shakers in your life think  \n	Explain the five leadership decision-making styles  \n	Teach you buzzwords associated with each style designed to trigger action   \n\n\nJoin Jim Summers\, Max S.
