DESCRIPTION:Join us for a night celebrating female chefs\, sommeliers and winemakers.\n\nAssembl : A Female Focused Wine Dinner is a collaboration between Winefest Des Moines and Ballet Des Moines celebrating the talent and passion of female chefs\, sommeliers and winemakers.\n\nJoin us for a dinner made by incredible local chefs Katie Van Dyke with the Iowa Culinary Institute\, Brandy Lueders with The Grateful Chef and Kelsey Williamson with Tangerine Food Company\, featuring Bread by Chelsa B and wine selected from women-owned wineries by our local sommelier\, Blair Zachariasen.\n\nGuests will experience a preview of Ballet Des Moines's SHE and witness the unveiling of 10 profiles and portraits created in partnership with Fearless\, a Business Record publication empowering Iowa women to succeed in work and life. These profiles will explore the topic of female leadership by shedding light not just on the successes of these incredible women\, but also the compromises\, fears\, and ongoing pressures they each face in pursuing their dreams.\n\nThis exquisite dinner kicks off a series of events leading up to the world premiere of SHE\, a triple bill of female choreographers to be performed at Des Moines Performing Arts' Stoner Theater April 27-30\, 2023.\n\nAdditional Ballet Des Moines supporters: Roxanne Conlin\, FemCity\, Jackie Johansen\, Eden\, Fearless\n\nAges 21+
