The 6 laws of social influence: Converting the competition - Accelerate Series
Accelerate Emerging Leaders is proud to partner with Iowa State University Ivy College of Business to offer a four-part educational series targeted toward young professionals titled "The Science of Getting Your Way".
The series is designed to highlight strategies for gaining influence. Based on the latest scientific data, each lecture offers a unique aspect of conflict management by uncovering what makes us tick. You will get to know yourself more and better understand those around you while learning the latest in negotiation techniques.
Each session will take place from 4-6 pm at the WDM Chamber of Commerce office (650 S. Prairie View D, Ste 110) on these dates: February 20, April 23, July 16 and October 15.
The key to successful business interaction is influence. Learn the science behind human communication and make your conversations more persuasive. This event will:
- Outline the six laws of social influence
- Explain how humans are genetically hardwired to react in specific ways
- Give you methods for leveraging evolution to get people to move in your direction
