WEST DES MONES, IA (MONDAY April 10, 2023) – The West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce (WDM Chamber) has announced Diversity Week from April 10-14 that will feature twenty diverse virtual vendors for the third annual Athene Black & Brown Business Summit (The Summit) presented by Wells Fargo. The virtual vendor fair is made possible through support from Hy-Vee.  

“Hy-Vee is excited to be part of bringing the virtual vendor fair to life for this year’s Summit,” said Stacey Johnson, Senior Vice President, Government Relations and Corporate Compliance for Hy-Vee. “We know that access to resources and relationships is a key ingredient to the success of small businesses, and we believe this virtual vendor fair will help business owners connect with each other to help all their organizations grow.”

Part of diversity week includes consistent promotion of these vendors in digital and social media campaigns on several WDM Chamber channels to help amplify the great work they are doing and do drive sales. In addition to promotions, vendors can attend The Summit, gain visibility during The Summit, and have the opportunity to purchase a discounted WDM Chamber membership.

“We are excited to spotlight our 2023 virtual vendors during Diversity Week,” said Anna Doud, senior director of membership and strategic partnerships with the WDM Chamber and subcommittee organizer. “As a virtual vendor, these business owners have the opportunity to engage digitally with Athene Black & Brown Business Summit attendees to increase exposure, awareness, and engagement for their business.”
