VOTING FOR WEST DES MOINES CHAMBER OF COMMERCE THIRD ANNUAL BEST OF THE WEST AWARDS PRESENTED BY AUREON SET TO OPEN OCTOBER 1

WEST DES MONES, IA (TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 27, 2022) – The West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce (WDM Chamber) will open voting for the third Annual Best of the West Awards presented by Aureon on October 1. The Best of the West Awards is a West Des Moines-focused, community vote contest featuring 50 categories.
 
“We are thrilled to launch the third annual Best of the West Awards presented by Aureon,” said Katherine Harrington, President and CEO of the WDM Chamber. “This is one of our favorite programs and we cannot wait to celebrate our people, businesses, organizations, and more!”
 
Voting will be open October 1-31 and allows participants to vote for their favorite people, places, and things once per day. Entries must either be affiliated as members of the West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce or reside/be located in West Des Moines. A celebration to recognize all winners will take place November 29 at the Sheraton West Des Moines.

Most winners will be announced November 1 while a select few categories will be announced at the Best of the West Awards Celebration on November 29. All winners will receive a specialty award featuring the Best of the West logo and exclusive bragging rights for the year as one of West Des Moines’ best.
 
Additionally, a portion of all sponsorship proceeds from the Best of the West Awards will directly support the West Des Moines Community Foundation, an organization committed to ensuring West Des Moines is the best community for all. The Best of the West Awards is also supported by gold sponsor DMOS, silver sponsor The Iowa Clinic, and champion sponsors R&R Realty and TalentBridge.
