Wicks & Walk

Pour, sip, and support a great cause! Join us on June 3 for Wicks & Walk at CandleBar DSM, a unique, hands-on evening benefiting the Des Moines Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Guests will create a custom candle - perfect for honoring a loved one or simply enjoying a fun, creative experience - while taking part in a meaningful community event. Each participant will select a one-hour candlemaking session and can design ALZ’s signature candle or customize their own scent. Light refreshments, including charcuterie and beverages, will be provided throughout the evening. Every candle serves as a symbol of remembrance, and proceeds from this event directly support the Alzheimer’s Association and local Walk to End Alzheimer’s efforts.
