Experienced Full Stack Developer
We are looking for an experienced web developer excited to collaborate in a strong team to create high-quality front and back end projects in a variety of industries, from start-ups to large corporations. Clients come to us when they have a web-based software need or idea and need help executing it. We jump in to: design a solution, code the project, and support that code long term. Those needs vary from consumer to business apps such as telemedicine and civil engineering reporting. Our clients’ demands keep growing, and we’re ready to add another strong web developer to our team. This role will primarily work on cloud-based software projects but may occasionally also work on mobile projects. You’ll jump into a fast-paced environment where every person’s contribution matters. For that reason, we expose developers to the full architecture stack and ask them to contribute in a variety of ways, from developing front-end user interfaces, to middleware and database applications. You’ll work in a collaborative role with other developers, user experience, client management and quality assurance to build the best possible projects for our clients. Our current primary language and frameworks are Ruby on Rails and React Native. The person who thrives in this role will: Write, test and review Ruby on Rails and React Native code. Occasionally write, test and review Ionic code. Provide feedback and expertise on planned or considered projects. Stay current on trends and best practices in Ruby on Rails and React Native. Work with other team members and clients to identify client needs and solve their problems. Follow the software throughout the life cycle to address needed changes from user acceptance testing and after release. Work from home or a remote location most of the time. Qualifications include: At least 1 year of experience in web development, with preference for experience in Ruby on Rails or React Native. Strong collaborative spirit Proficiency with fundamental front end languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript Familiarity with database technology such as PostgreSQL Excellent verbal communication skills Good problem solving skills Attention to detail We believe strongly in creating a happy environment where people can do their best work.
