What You Can Expect In This Role

Leads the strategic development and oversight of SFG's existing and evolving business architecture framework. Leads cross-functional teams in translating the SFG Business Plan into identifiable and actionable PPT (People-Process-Technology) requirements, capabilities and opportunities, and spearheading change

What You'll Do In This Role
 

  • Develop, deploy and lead SFG-wide business architecture strategy and roadmap, including digital transformation, data integrity, process optimization and business capability planning, oversight, governance, standards and evolution. Includes working closely with IT architects and engineers regarding technology, process and data capabilities and requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leadership, stakeholders and teams on aligning and prioritizing business capabilities with business goals and expectations. Includes examining complex business challenges, mapping-out requirements, existing capabilities and gaps, identifying and developing solutions, and implementing transformational change
  • Lead business process mapping, gap analyses, process engineering, change management, continuous improvement, and technology solutions and alignment
  • Lead and champion business capability architecture, principles, practices and continuous improvement models across SFG
  • Promote a culture of business process optimization and continuous improvement, including collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, teams and individuals across SFG on strategic initiatives and projects

What We're Looking For
 
  • Bachelor's Degree in a data or technology-related discipline, or equivalent combination of experience and education Required
  • 8-10 years' experience in business architecture, capability planning, or a related area, preferably in the financial services sector Required
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful business architecture strategies
  • Extensive experience with business capability technology and integration requirements, such as enterprise resource planning (ERP), financial, employee lifecycle, product, business intelligence, and similar technologies
  • Strong understanding of digital transformation, data management, and IT alignment with business goals
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Proven informal leadership skills, and the ability to influence in a matrix environment
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Anticipate up to 10% overnight travel

Salary Range Information

USD $103,317.00 - USD $172,196.00 /Yr. Range includes data points from multiple labor markets. Specific range is dependent on the labor market where the incumbent will be hired to perform the position. Starting salary is dependent on candidate qualifications and experience. For a narrower salary range specific to your labor market, please inquire.
