2025 CHamber Challenge

Help your Chamber become the 2025 Chamber Challenge Champion!

Your business can participate in the Chamber Challenge and join in a long-standing holiday tradition!
 
Ringing the bell at a Salvation Army Kettle! Pick a kettle location and day, cover volunteer shifts, share a virtual kettle link and QR code internally, and maybe offer a match for the total raised.
 
Awards for the most raised in each chamber, and a Chamber Challenge Champion raising the most overall during the holiday season (November 7 – December 24), will be honored at our 2026 Spirit of Christmas Award Luncheon on January 28, 2026 at Events Center West from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM.
 
RISE TO THE CHALLENGE - RING THE BELL
It’s easy!
 
- Visit www.registertoring.com and login or create an account.
- Pick and reserve your day and location from over 58 in Central Iowa.
- Email tamyra.harrison@usc.salvationarmy.org with your company or group name, chamber you are ringing for, location, and date.
- A virtual kettle will be created for you to raise additional funds throughout the season.
- Create a sign up from 10am to 8pm and fill in volunteers
---Shifts can be divided however you want as long as time is filled.
---You can have more than one ringer per shift.
---Use co-workers, friends and family to fill shifts.
- Let everyone know you will be ringing and to come donate and have fun!
- Do it one day or more than one to increase your total.
- Offer a company match, or up to a certain amount, to incentivize giving and raise enthusiasm.
 
We have kettles in Altoona, Ankeny, Bondurant, Clive, Des Moines, Grimes, Indianola, Johnston, Norwalk, Perry, Pleasant Hill, Polk City, Urbandale, Waukee, Windsor Heights, West Des Moines.
