Break-A-Stick Plant-A-Tree
The Iowa Wild, in collaboration with WM and with the participation of the City of Des Moines’ Forestry Division are giving out a tree for every stick broken during the 2024-25 season, and you are invited!
Fans can RSVP now on a first-come, first-serve basis to receive one of 240 Norway Spruce seedlings. Arborists from the Des Moines Public Works Department’s Forestry Division will be on hand to distribute trees and give instructions on proper care.
Celebrate Earth Day early with this family-friendly event! Enjoy refreshments, games, and other activities, including:
- Kids Touch A Truck Area Provided By WM & Niece Trucking
- Playground Area for Kids Provided By JP Party Rentals
- Displays and sampling provided by Buzzard Billy's, Iowa Speedway, Raising Canes, Atlantic Bottling, and many more!
