Join the West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce Civic Connect Government Affairs Committee for a special morning designed to connect our community directly with the candidates seeking election to the Dallas County Board of Supervisors, District 1.

We’ll welcome:

Robert Greenway (R)
Jason Benell (D)

In a special “soapbox-style” format, each candidate will have dedicated time to speak directly to attendees about their priorities, ideas and vision for serving on the Dallas County Board of Supervisors. 

Following the candidate remarks, we’ll open the conversation for a Q&A with attendees, providing an opportunity to hear the candidates address questions and issues important to our growing community.

Dallas County continues to experience significant growth and change, and the Board of Supervisors plays an important role in county government, including setting policy priorities, allocating resources and overseeing the county budget. This is your opportunity to meet the candidates, hear their priorities firsthand and learn more about the people asking to represent the community.

There is no cost to attend. This Civic Connect event is open to WDM Chamber members and the broader public, and all are welcome.
