Construct Iowa: Explore Middlebrook Agrihood - Presented by Aureon

What if growth didn’t mean pushing agriculture farther away—but instead brought farms, food, nature, neighborhoods, and community together?

Join us for the next Construct Iowa, presented by Aureon, as we head to Middlebrook Agrihood, one of the most unique and innovative communities taking shape in our region. Middlebrook is reimagining what development can look like in Iowa. Rather than replacing the agricultural heritage of the land, this innovative agrihood is designed to preserve and celebrate it—integrating farming, gardening, local food, walkability, nature, education, and community into everyday life.

Residents enjoy a strong sense of connection through shared spaces including Middlebrook Farm, Middlebrook Mercantile, parks, trails, and gathering spaces throughout the community. Walking paths and bicycle trails connect neighborhoods while creating opportunities for families, neighbors, and visitors to experience the outdoors together.

Come See It for Yourself!

We’ll kick things off at Peoples Company Training Room, where attendees can check in and we’ll hear the story and vision behind Middlebrook before heading out for a firsthand tour of this extraordinary development.  Following the tour, everyone is invited to the Mercantile for a complimentary drink and more networking.
