Culinary Superheroes - Fall 2019 “Local Harvest” - Chef Aaron Holt
Sip and savor with superhero chefs! The Justice League of Food, a local non-profit that educates and inspires at-risk youth in the culinary arts, will be hosting a tantalizing dinner series this fall called CULINARY SUPERHEROES - Fall 2019 “Local Harvest”.
The series will feature 3 of the Midwest's top chefs. Along with a team of young apprentices, these superheroes will create dishes that feature fresh, seasonal local food options.
It's sure to be an evening filled with beautiful food and warm conversation.
All dinners will include a wine or beer pairing.
Live entertainment during the evening!
Doors at 6:00pm, dinner at 6:30pm.

Featured Local Ingredient: Winter Squash
Aaron Holt was born and raised in Iowa growing up cooking with his mother (the best cook he knows), he was taught to use local and seasonal ingredients. His love and passion for food has led him to his culinary career, including as executive chef of RoCA where he earned the Iowa Restaurant Association's 2018 Executive Chef of the Year award. Currently, he is a culinary consultant for Sysco Iowa and the owner of Doolittle Farm LLC, a 53-acre property that includes organic fruits, vegetables, edible flowers, and micro-greens.
