Day of Kindness - Sock Drive 2023

The WDM Leadership Academy Alumni created Day of Kindness 3 years ago, and it has since gone statewide. West Des Moines businesses, leaders, students, and community members lead the way with acts of kindness on January 27, 2023. 

If you're looking for ways to participate in Day of Kindness, we are holding a community-wide sock drive this year. We encourage your business, friends, and family to bring new socks to the WDM Chamber office from 8 - 9 AM on January 27. They will be donated to West Des Moines Human Services through WDMLA Alum Mick Grossman's "Socks of Love" project.
