Inclusive Economic Development Event Series - hosted by the WDM Chamber's diversity, equity, and inclusion committee.
In 2025, the DEI Committee of the West Des Moines Chamber will focus on fostering Inclusive Economic Development by bringing together thought leaders, advocates, and innovators to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing our growing and diverse community. This year’s series will feature dynamic events - eight in total - designed to inspire action and provide practical tools for fostering inclusion across sectors. From healthcare and education to entrepreneurship, workforce development, and financial equity, each session will address critical topics that empower every member of our population to thrive. Whether you are a business leader, educator, community advocate, or entrepreneur, these events will offer fresh insights, valuable connections, and actionable strategies for driving equitable growth in West Des Moines and beyond. Join us as we work to build a more inclusive, innovative, and prosperous community for all.
Join us at Des Moines University's stunning new campus for a thought-provoking discussion on addressing healthcare disparities and advancing global health. Keyah Levy - Director of Global Health Programs at DMU, will guide us through how inclusive practices in healthcare can improve outcomes for underserved communities.
