The Associate Financial Analyst will perform financial modeling and/or measurement and/or research using established approaches and analysis techniques under direct supervision. They will interpret results and draw relevant conclusions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the Finance Analytics process through the analysis of Company financial results, forecasts, variances, and trends.
- Assess and communicate the financial performance of various operational initiatives (i.e., new store designs, new products, and services).
- Assist with the analysis and development of financial results and plans to distribute to the Company's Executive Leadership and Board of Directors.
- Collect and organize information for investor presentations, press releases, annual reports, as well as Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filings.
- Identify trends in financial performance and coordinate with other members of the Company to review financial information and forecasts.
- Reconciliation of general ledger accounts and point of sale information. Identify trends and recommend actions to a Sr. financial analyst or higher based on sound analysis.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Economics or Management Information Systems or equivalent work-related experience.
- Proficient in Excel or EPM systems (formulas, functions, and data structuring).
- Proficient in interpreting information (especially financial) from all data sources, internal or external, with effective analytical and data gathering / modeling skills.
- Effective verbal communication and presentation abilities. Proficient in attention to detail, transparency, and integrity.
- Proficient in working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and ambiguous environment.
- Ability to handle complex and confidential information with the appropriate levels of discretion.
- Executes decision making and approval processes followed by company leadership to optimize usage/safeguard company assets.
