Job Details

As a Quality Controls Manager at this company, you will be responsible for managing the implementation and execution of quality control programs across construction projects to ensure work meets or exceeds contractual and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
 Lead the development, implementation, and enforcement of Project Quality Control Plans (QCPs).
 Conduct daily site inspections and oversee quality control procedures, documentation, and reporting.
 Coordinate with project teams (superintendents, subcontractors, engineers) to ensure quality standards are upheld.
 Identify, document, and resolve quality issues in real time, including corrective actions and root-cause analysis.
 Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, inspections, non-conformances, and corrective measures.
 Interface with clients, inspectors, and design team members to support project success.
Qualifications:
 Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
 5+ years of quality control or quality assurance experience in construction.
 Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and specifications.
 Proven ability to develop, enforce, and manage quality systems and documentation.
 Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work across teams and stakeholders.
Preferred:
 Certification in quality or construction quality management (e.g., CQCM).
 Experience with formal quality processes (e.g., 3-Phase QC Process used on government/federal projects).
