Wondering what a day in the life of an Infusion Center RN at The Iowa Clinic Waukee campus might look like?
 

• Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm with the potential of a half day.
• Deliver high-quality professional nursing care to various infusion patients including those in immunology, cardiology, gastroenterology, oncology/hematology, and other disciplines.
• Administer infusion therapies on an outpatient basis, monitor vital signs, change dressings, utilize electronic health records, and attend to patient needs efficiently and compassionately.
• Coordinate patient care and demonstrate teamwork with multiple departments and healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Provide appropriate education and support to patients and their families while respecting and protecting patient privacy.
   

Minimum Requirements:

Previous Work Experience:
 

• Minimum of 3 years RN experience in Infusion Services, including Chemotherapy Experience.
• Must possess excellent IV skills and have a strong clinical background working collaboratively with other nurses and healthcare providers.
   

Required Licensure/Certifications:
 

• Chemo Card (Required/Must obtain)
• BLS certification
• Heart Association required); ACLS certification; Certified
• Registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI) certification preferred.
