Commercial Real Estate Advisor

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Real Estate Advisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in commercial real estate transactions, including buying, selling, and leasing. This role requires a deep understanding of the Des Moines Metro real estate market, the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, and a drive to consistently cultivate a strong pipeline of active deals.

- Dedicated Business Development Specialist aiming to expand exposure and generate prospects.
- Commission splits and caps negotiable.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in the purchase, sale, and leasing of commercial properties.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, targeted outreach, referrals, and local market groups.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies with the assistance of our in-house marketing personnel to attract clients and promote properties.
- Establish a strong presence in the local real estate community, actively growing both your personal brand and WB Realty’s reputation as a leading provider of commercial real estate services.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements on behalf of clients.
- Collaborate with the property management and development teams to provide comprehensive services to clients.
- Conduct market analysis to identify property values and market trends.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of real estate laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Keep active records on current deals and new prospects in company CRM (Hubspot)
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in commercial real estate brokerage. Mix of industrial, retail, and multi-family preferred.
- Iowa Real Estate Salesperson License required
- Strong network within the Des Moines metro real estate community, with agents, prospective clients, and local investors.
- Proven track record of obtaining direct clients, not reliant on broker referrals.
- An ability to underwrite a variety of property and lease types to be able to accurately advise investor clients from an owner’s perspective.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple active transactions and continue to market to new clients simultaneously.
