Account Representative - Compressed Air

As a member of Baker Group, the Account Representative is accountable for actively developing both existing and new business relationships in both an office and field setting. This position will need a good mechanical aptitude and should be knowledgeable in compressed air equipment, air treatment equipment and distribution system design. Performs related work as required.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties are typical for this job. These are not to be constructed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

• Sales of technically advanced equipment in the compressed air field, (i.e. compressors of various types and applications, air treatment equipment, etc.)

• Compressed air system design

• Ability to assess client needs, estimate project cost, write proposals and be comfortable in a sales role

• Accurate daily time and equipment reporting



MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Computer proficient in Excel and Word

• Design software such as AutoCAD or Blue beam preferred

• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written and foster long-term relationships

• Experience/knowledge in compressed air systems and equipment required

• Proficient in reading construction drawings

• Pass drug test and background investigation requirements
