R3 Roofing & Exteriors primarily operates within the Commercial and Residential Storm Restoration Industry. We are a family-owned, growing organization in a booming industry. Our people-first approach is the key to your SUCCESS, and ours! We are seeking driven, hardworking, and career minded Sales Representative for our Urbandale, Iowa office.  This office services Urbandale and surrounding communities.  

The Sales Representative is responsible for effective prospecting of new residential and/or commercial roofing, siding, and gutter services through door to door canvassing as well as effectively communicating with customers.


Responsibilities and Duties:

Prospect residential leads for property inspections.

Handle referrals in a timely and professional manner.

Offer free property damage inspections and assessments.

Maintain acceptable levels of prospecting field activity, referral generation, and executing

Roofing, Siding, and Gutter contracts.

Maintain proper representation of the R3 brand.

Execute the trained processes to the best of your ability.

Aim for complete customer satisfaction and leverage satisfaction for referral business.

Qualifications and Skills:

No prior knowledge of roofing or construction is required.

Excellent time management skills.

Drive and determination for exceeding expectations and achieving goals.

Learn our CRM software and sales KPIs.

Previous experience with sales is a plus, but not required.

Ability to knock 50 plus doors per day.

Ability to walk 1 to 2 miles per day.

Ability to use an iPad and software assigned to you by R3.

100% Commission - Realistic First Year Earnings Range $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 plus.

Realistic Second Year Earnings Range $80,000.00 to $125,000.00 plus.

$500.00 per week for the first 4 weeks of employment with 1 set appointment per week.

During this time there is the potential to earn more with additional set appointments.

(You will receive extensive sales training, industry product knowledge and you will be partnered

with one of our trainers each day).

Experienced Roofing Sales Representatives may be fast tracked through

training processes based on level of experience.

Our Top Performers Typical Weekly Schedule:

M-F with some early evening appointments.

One 1⁄2 day on the weekend.
