Position Summary

As Senior Training Consultant, you will work closely with the CultureALL consulting team to review and enhance, design, and deliver presentations or training workshops. These sessions will strategically advance clients’ goals to improve teamwork and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Training Design and Development
    • Collaborate with clients to conduct needs assessments and customize training materials to address specific cultural and organizational challenges.
    • Design experiential and interactive learning activities that promote engagement and practical application of differing perspectives and concepts in the workplace.
  2. Facilitation and Delivery
    • Facilitate dynamic in-person and virtual training sessions for CultureALL clients, ensuring an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
    • Use a variety of instructional techniques and technologies to effectively deliver content to audiences from a range of perspectives, including leadership teams, employees, and key business partners.
    • Tailor facilitation style to different levels of learners, ensuring that content is accessible and impactful for everyone from entry-level employees to senior executives.
  3. Partner Collaboration and Relationship Building
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key client partners, ensuring open communication and collaboration throughout the training process.
    • Work closely with internal CultureALL team members, to align training initiatives with overall client engagement strategies.
  4. Content Customization and Adaptation
    • Adapt training materials for different industries, business sectors, and organizational sizes, ensuring relevance and practicality.
    • Address specific client needs by incorporating their mission, values, and diversity goals into the training content.
    • Customize training for different formats, including one-on-one coaching, group sessions, or large organizational rollouts.
  5. Resource Development
    • Create supporting materials for training sessions, such as handouts, guides, videos, and toolkits that help reinforce learning outcomes.
  6. Cultural Competency and Sensitivity
    • Lead sensitive discussions about race, gender, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, and other aspects of identity, fostering an atmosphere of respect and openness.
    • Help participants identify their own assumptions and behaviors, encouraging self-reflection and growth toward cultural agility.
  7. Continuous Learning and Thought Leadership
    • Keep abreast of the latest research, trends, and innovations in training and apply these insights to enhance CultureALL programs.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience delivering training and facilitation across a range of audiences and industries.
  • Proven track record deploying adult learning principles, instructional design, and training evaluation methodologies.
  • Demonstrated expertise in fostering discussions that are inclusive, managing sensitive topics related to diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and accessibility.
  • Evidence of excellent communication and interpersonal skills that strengthen relationships with clients and participants.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively read an audience to determine the best delivery method of training before and during the training session.
  • Evidence of adaptability and creativity in designing engaging, effective, and interactive training sessions.
