We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Planning Strategist, holding a CFP designation, to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with financial advisors, our in-house investment team, and external specialists, guiding clients through sophisticated financial challenges and supporting their unique wealth management needs. Your expertise in crafting personalized financial strategies, including tax optimization and estate planning, will be essential for client success.

Comprehensive Financial Planning and Strategy Development
Develop and update comprehensive financial plans tailored to client needs, encompassing estate planning, tax optimization, risk management, and retirement strategies.
Utilize advanced scenario analysis and financial modeling to explore various strategic options for wealth preservation, growth, and distribution. -
Tax Strategy and Planning
Serve as a key resource for tax-related financial planning, offering strategies such as Roth conversions, charitable giving, and optimized retirement contributions.
Address client-specific concerns like bracket maximization and required minimum distribution (RMD) planning. -
Client-Centric Life Transition Support
Work alongside a cross-functional team to support clients through major life transitions, including divorce, business sales, or significant wealth transfers, ensuring stability and alignment with their long-term goals. -
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with estate attorneys, tax advisors, and insurance experts to deliver comprehensive, coordinated client solutions.
Actively contribute to firm-wide strategies, supporting growth initiatives, branding efforts, and client acquisition campaigns. -
Compliance and Risk Management
Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards, applying a proactive approach to risk management.
Identify and mitigate potential risks within client financial plans, employing robust strategies and insurance solutions. -
Advanced Knowledge and Tool Utilization
Stay updated on evolving tax laws, market trends, and financial regulations to keep clients informed and plans optimized.
Utilize specialized financial software for data analysis, outcome modeling, and stress-testing of financial strategies. -
Mentorship and Team Leadership
Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative learning environment that emphasizes growth and development.

Business Development and Industry Engagement

Customized Estate and Legacy Planning
Design estate plans that align with client values and minimize tax implications, addressing wealth transfer and philanthropic interests.
Integrate charitable giving strategies into client plans, ensuring tax efficiency and alignment with personal values. -
Client Education and Clear Communication
Educate clients on complex financial concepts, empowering them with the knowledge to make informed decisions.
Provide clear and comprehensive reporting, tailored to client communication preferences.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in financial planning or wealth management, with demonstrated expertise in tax, estate, retirement, and business planning.
Certification: CFP required; ChFC, JD, CPA, or Enrolled Agent credentials are preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Communication: Strong verbal and written skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for clients.
