What You Will Do:
- Engage with members to understand their financial needs and provide personalized solutions
- Assist members with loan applications (personal, auto, credit cards, etc.), explaining loan terms, rates, repayment options, and add-on features
- Monitor loan pipelines to guarantee processing and follow-up in a timely manner
- Open new accounts, IRAs, and CDs, and perform account maintenance activities
- Facilitate member transactions efficiently and accurately
- Guide financial products and services to help members reach their goals
- Act as a mentor to team members, supporting their onboarding and professional development
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, policy, and procedural standards
- Collaborate with colleagues to foster a positive team environment and share expertise
What You Will Need to Be Successful:
- High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework or degree preferred)
- 3+ years of strong financial sales experience
- Capacity to obtain CUNA FiCEP/CCUFC designation during the first year
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a professional, positive attitude
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with financial software and basic computer applications
- Prior experience with community involvement and business development (preferred)
- Bilingual abilities (preferred)
- Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance standards (preferred)
- 3+ years of consumer lending or banking experience (preferred)
