Our client is one of the Midwest's largest equipment and service providers and is looking to add an Inside Sales/Project Manager to their growing team. Responsibilities:

  • Gather and create proposals, scopes, drawings/plans, specifications, and related documents as needed
  • Perform day-to-day activities which consist of electrical equipment selections, reviewing plans and specifications, preparing cost estimates, quotes, and take-offs
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with customers, engineers, contractors, and fellow staff
  • Analyze and understand blueprints, plans, and specifications
  • Support outside sales professionals in the upper Midwest with ordering/approvals
  • Develop, maintain, and grow relationships with new and existing customers across various channels of communication
  • Act as a liaison with customers and create a positive relationship by responding to their questions and needs in a timely manner
  • Manage a variety of projects simultaneously
  • Travel will be minimal for offsite supplier training and occasional tradeshows
  • Provide effective work from a setting that is removed from a job site
  • Participate in a cooperative, collaborative, and team-structured work environment
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's/associate's degree in a technical or business discipline such as Business Management, construction management, Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.)
  • 3-5 years experience in Inside Sales, Project Management, Estimating, Customer Service, or Electrical Background
  • Experience in estimating, inside sales, electrical, customer service, and/or project management is preferred
  • CAD software and programming and understanding of construction processes are a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize a variety of projects/assignments - including setting and changing priorities on an as-needed basis
  • Ability to adapt to working with cross-functional teams, situations, and circumstances
  • Must have a high level of professionalism and the ability to operate in an office environment
