WDM Chamber of Commerce announces the 7th Annual Regional Mentoring for Women event presented by Wellabe

WEST DES MONES, IA (January 11, 2024) – The West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce (WDM Chamber) along with the Clive Chamber of Commerce announces the seventh annual Mentoring for Women event presented by Wellabe, taking place on March 8, 2024, at Prairie Meadows Racetrack & Casino. This event provides a unique opportunity for women in Central Iowa to learn from top leaders in the region through fast and focused coaching sessions and learning activities.

“This annual event offers a distinctive opportunity for attendees to learn first-hand from top women leaders in our region,” said Katherine Harrington, President and CEO of the WDM Chamber. “The Mentoring for Women event is designed to unveil the insights, experiences, and strategies of these trailblazing leaders, equipping attendees with the tools they need to emerge as the leaders of tomorrow.”

The Mentoring for Women event is a full-day experience, providing breakfast, lunch, and a cocktail reception in the afternoon to conclude the day-long event. During lunch, there will be a fashion show by White House Black Market. The day includes six mentor sessions, each with fifteen-minute breaks for deeper conversations. With 100 mentors participating, attendees will benefit from a diverse range of expertise. A complete list of mentors and their topics will be announced at a later date.
