Joseph Holloway Joins Local 5’s “Good Morning Iowa”
West Des Moines, Iowa – Local 5 announced today that Joseph Holloway joins “Good Morning Iowa” as anchor and executive producer. He brings more than a decade of experience in local broadcast news, from reporting and anchoring in Fayetteville, Arkansas, Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Raleigh, North Carolina. A sports fan, Holloway has also worked freelance in sports journalism for ESPN, CBS, and Cox Sports Television.
Holloway has a passion for helping the community stay informed. He says, “People have a right to know what’s going on in their neighborhoods. I’m passionate about making sure they know the whole story so they can make their own decisions.”

A Carlisle resident, Holloway lives with his wife, Kylee, and their dogs, Georgia and Magnolia. He loves working out, watching sports, playing tennis and cheering on the Arkansas Razorbacks.
August 19 is Holloway’s first day on “Good Morning Iowa,” sharing the latest news that impacts central Iowans.
