The West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce Promotes Meredith Murphy to Talent Attraction Manager

WEST DES MONES, IA (June 17, 2023) –

The West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce (WDM Chamber) has announced the promotion of Meredith Murphy to Talent Attraction Manager effective July 17, 2023. Murphy has been a leader with the WDM Chamber since July of 2022, starting as Talent Attraction Coordinator prior to her promotion.
"Meredith's dedication and passion have been a driving force behind the advancements of the WDM Chamber," said Katherine Harrington, President & CEO of the WDM Chamber. "With her leadership, the community has witnessed the outstanding success of current programs like YURtern. Our registrant numbers have shattered previous records and continue to reach new heights, thanks to her exceptional contributions to our team."

In addition to her work with the WDM Chamber, Murphy is heavily involved in the community, serving as the Secretary for Capital City Pride, and a Student Track Committee Member for Women Lead Change.
“I can’t wait to continue to explore the world of workforce development through this new position with the Chamber,” Murphy said. “Helping college students, young professionals, and the West Des Moines community has been such a joy this past year and I’m excited to see what’s next.”
