Troy Boelman Named Market President of Ankeny

First National Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Troy Boelman to Market President of its Ankeny location. Boelman succeeds Tom Friedman, who retired following an accomplished 45-year banking career, including 20 years of dedicated service with First National Bank.
 

Boelman joined First National Bank in December 2025 as Senior Vice President and Commercial Lending Officer and has quickly become a valued leader within the organization and the Ankeny community. In his new role, he will continue to focus on strengthening customer relationships, supporting local businesses, and leading the bank's continued growth in the Ankeny market.

A resident of Ankeny, Boelman is actively involved in several local organizations, including the Ankeny Area Chamber of Commerce, Mid Iowa Development Fund, and Rotary Club of Ankeny.
