Valley Junction Vintage, Thrifted, & Handmade Returns Sept. 13

West Des Moines, Iowa – The Historic Valley Junction Foundation is excited to announce the return of Valley Junction Vintage, Thrifted, & Handmade on Sunday, September 13, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the heart of Historic Valley Junction. This one-day shopping experience celebrates vintage treasures, quality thrift finds, and handcrafted goods from talented makers and small businesses across the Midwest.

Shoppers can explore dozens of carefully curated vendors offering vintage clothing, antiques, home décor, collectibles, vinyl records, handmade art, jewelry, candles, soaps, furniture, and one-of-a-kind creations. Whether you're searching for a nostalgic find, a unique gift, or the perfect statement piece for your home, there's something for every vintage enthusiast and treasure hunter.

New this year, the 300 block of 5th Street will feature a Kids Market, where young entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to showcase and sell their own handmade creations, artwork, baked goods, and other kid-created products. The Kids Market encourages creativity, entrepreneurship, and confidence while giving visitors the chance to support the next generation of makers and small business owners.

"Vintage, Thrifted, & Handmade celebrates everything people love about shopping small, while the addition of the Kids Market gives young entrepreneurs a chance to experience what it's like to run their own business alongside experienced vendors."

Now in its second year, Valley Junction Vintage, Thrifted, & Handmade continues to build on the success of its inaugural event by expanding the number of vendors and creating an even larger shopping experience for attendees. The event is free to attend and welcomes shoppers of all ages to spend the day exploring one of Iowa's most unique historic shopping districts while supporting independent makers, collectors, artists, and vintage retailers.

Admission is free, and no registration is required. Free public parking is available throughout Historic Valley Junction.
