WEST DES MOINES CHAMBER ANNOUNCES SPEAKERS FOR AUGUST LUNCHEON - EDUCATION 2023 & BEYOND: STRATEGIES TO SUPPORT TOMORROW’S LEADERS IN CENTRAL IOWA

WEST DES MONES, IA (TUESDAY, JULY 11, 2023) – The West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the speakers for the 2023 August Luncheon set to take place on Thursday, Aug 17,  featuring outstanding educational leaders from across Iowa. Participating in the panel discussion are Dr. Matt Adams, Superintendent of West Des Moines Community Schools, Dr. Brad Buck, Superintendent of Waukee School District, Dr. Rachelle Keck, President of Grandview University, Noelle Nelson, Executive Director of Avenue Scholars, and Shane Scott, Director of Secondary Curriculum for Valley High School. The event, sponsored by Bank Iowa and hosted at Embassy Club West, is a moderated event where regional leaders will have the chance to talk about our world-class public educational system, successes, and where we see opportunities for growth.
 
“West Des Moines, and Iowa, have always been known for excellence in public education,” said Katherine Harrington, President and CEO of the WDM Chamber. “Our panel of experts for this luncheon will spotlight innovation within our educational system and how we are shaping future leaders.”
 
The panel discussion will explore different viewpoints on ways to create a better future for leaders and sustain the advancement of our world-class education system. The exchange of ideas and thoughts will guide our audience toward a fresh perspective on the future success of our region. Interested attendees can also submit questions in advance when registering for the event.
