West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce Announces Speakers for August Luncheon: Building a World-Class Talent Pool in Iowa

WEST DES MOINES, IA (Tuesday, August 6, 2024) – The West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce (WDM Chamber) has announced the speakers for its next luncheon set to take place on Thursday, August 15, featuring educational leaders across Iowa. The luncheon, presented by Shive-Hattery and supported by GYMGUYZ, will feature regional educational leaders who will share about building a world-class educational system, and potential growth opportunities to build and retain talent in our region.

Participating in the panel discussion include:

• Dr. Angela Walker Franklin - President of Des Moines University

• Dr. Adreain Henry - President of Mercy College of Health Sciences

• David Spalding - Raisbeck Endowed Dean of the Iowa State Ivy College of Business

• Rob Denson - President of the Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC)
