West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce Opens Voting for 5th Annual Best of the West Awards

WEST DES MOINES, IA (October 1, 2024) – The West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce (WDM Chamber) is now accepting votes for the annual Best of the West Awards. The Best of the West Awards is a West Des Moines-focused, community vote contest now featuring 100 categories. The award ceremony is set to take place on December 3, 2024, at the Rewind Hotel in West Des Moines.

“We encourage everyone to cast their vote for the Best of the West Awards,” said Katherine Harrington, president and CEO of the WDM Chamber. “This is an incredible opportunity to celebrate the businesses and individuals who make our community thrive. Your vote not only supports local success but helps shine a spotlight on those who are making a difference every day.”

Voting will be open from October 1 and ends October 31 at 11:59 p.m. Participants can vote for their favorite people, places, and things once daily. Entries must either be affiliated as members of the WDM Chamber or reside/be located in West Des Moines. Following the voting period, winners will be announced on November 4. A celebration to recognize all winners will take place on December 3, at the Rewind Hotel in West Des Moines. All winners will receive a specialty award featuring the Best of the West logo and exclusive bragging rights for the year as one of West Des Moines’ best.

Additionally, a portion of all sponsorship proceeds from the Best of the West Awards will directly support the West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce Foundation. The Best of the West Awards is also supported by silver sponsor, The Iowa Clinic.
