West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce Unveils Theme and Date for 2026 Annual Dinner

WEST DES MOINES, IA (Tuesday, November 11, 2025) – The West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce (WDM Chamber) has announced the date, location, and theme for its 2026 Annual Dinner. The celebration will take place on Thursday, February 26, at the Val Air Ballroom in West Des Moines. This year’s theme, “Mission: Possible,” draws inspiration from the power of possibility—celebrating the bold ideas, collaborations, and community-driven achievements that continue to make West Des Moines an extraordinary place to live, work, and thrive.
 
“We make things possible here at the West Des Moines Chamber,” said Katherine Harrington, President & CEO. “That’s why the theme of this event centers on possibility — the progress we’ve achieved not only as a team and organization, but across our region, members, and every community connected to West Des Moines. Following the success of 2025 and the years before, this event will offer another opportunity to celebrate the community we’ve built together. The West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce will continue its tradition of honoring both the Citizen and Emerging Citizen of the Year at the annual celebration. During the 2025 Annual Dinner, Jennifer Hahn—recognized as the 2025 Citizen of the Year—shared, “I hope that by doing my part to spread kindness to youth in our community, it will inspire leaders to lead with empathy and encourage community members to take part in collective care, making West Des Moines the best place to live.”
