We are thrilled to share an exciting opportunity for you to get involved and support the vibrant community of West Des Moines through the Parks & Recreation Department! A few months ago, Sportsman Solutions entered into a partnership with West Des Moines Parks & Recreation to help with the procurement of sponsorships at Holiday Park Baseball Complex and Raccoon River Softball Complex. Our partner company, Sportsplex West has been managing the day-to-day operations and upkeep of the park since 2015. This recent collaboration has led to new unique partnerships with a few community partners you might recognize: Raccoon River Kennels becoming the presented by partner to the Raccoon River Dog Park or Iowa Clinic becoming the naming rights partner to the plaza at Holiday Park Baseball Complex.  For those interested, the marquee title naming rights to these venues along with other community sponsorships are currently available!
 
These parks are not just green spaces; they are the heart of our community, where families gather, friends connect, and memories are made. Holiday Park Baseball Complex and Raccoon River Softball Complex attract 600,000 guests annually with the majority of visitors hailing from Central Iowa/Greater Des Moines. This park usage has led to over $12million dollars in annual economic impact for the City of West Des Moines. This number has allowed the city to continue to make investments/improvements across the park district. Some of you may be aware of the recent $1.3 million investment last year with the addition of the new sensory playground at Raccoon River Park.

Together, we can ensure that Holiday Park Baseball Complex and Raccoon River Softball Complex continue to thrive as economic catalysts for the city and available for all demographics for generations to come.
