- 8:00 AM -5:00 PMM
What you will do:
- Execute all lab work following safety and ergonomic standards
- Maintain accurate electronic and legal notebook records for all research work
- Prepare explants and perform transformations
- Organize daily workflow to meet specified timelines
- Sub-culture tissue during the selection process
- Summarize results and note areas for improvement
- Regenerate tissue to produce high-quality transgenic or genome-edited plants
What you will need to be successful:
- Experience in crop transformation and tissue culture preferred
- Strong interpersonal and team communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail
- Positive attitude and the ability to work as a member of a team
