What you will do:

• Design, program, test, and commission automation systems using PLCs and HMIs for industrial process control and monitoring
• Lead and support the installation, start-up, maintenance, and operation of automation systems, including advanced manufacturing software, drive systems, manufacturing systems, and industrial networks
• Identify new system needs, select and pre-qualify vendors, develop concepts, manage RFP/RFQ/RFB processes, and handle capital expense requests
• Provide technical support during the commissioning and post-project stages
• Oversee automation projects from conception to implementation
• Interpret P&IDs for programming execution
• Optimize control logic for improved system monitoring and control

What you will need to be successful:

• Possess a college degree in electrical, mechanical, industrial engineering or a related field
• Over 5 years of relevant experience
• Hold a valid driver's license for travel to client sites and performing physical tasks
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship
• Extensive knowledge of Automation and Control products (e.g., VFDs, PLCs, Motion Control, HMI, Networking, Sensors, Robotics, Motor Control) and experience with PLC programming, as well as applying automation technology in industries like Warehouse Distribution, Food and Beverage, and Consumer Products Manufacturing and Packaging
