The HR Generalist will provide strategic and hands-on support to our home office human resources leadership team members. Primary focuses will be on benefits administration, payroll coordination, and learning & development program support and delivery. This role partners closely with functional leaders and the HR team to ensure smooth operations of core HR processes, enhance the employee experience, and support the organization’s goals through effective HR practices.
What You’ll Do & Key Responsibilities
Learning & Development
Assist in administration of learning programs, including scheduling and logistics
Help maintain Relias (LMS) content, reporting and user access
Manage Tuition Reimbursement
Facilitate entry level training sessions
Assist with creation of curriculum and learning materials
Benefits Administration
Serve as the primary point of contact for benefits questions, issue resolution and employee support
Assist with benefits enrollment, qualifying life events, and open enrollment activities
Review dependent verifications
Open enrollment management: assist with testing and assistance with open enrollment guides and materials
Assist with case management in benefit system
Payroll Support
Process payroll status changes including new hires, terminations, compensation adjustments, and job changes
Coordinate with payroll on benefit premium arrears
General HR Support
Assist with HR section of new employee orientation
Assist with HR projects
Serve as back-up when people are out of office
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, or related field required
3+ years of HR experience, preferably in benefits, payroll or HR operations
Experience coordinating training, learning and development programs, program delivery
Experience administering benefits
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work independently in organizing, scheduling, and work completion
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
