FULL STACK DEVELOPER

IMT Insurance is hiring for a passionate developer to fill our Full Stack Developer role. You will be responsible for participating in our product development from ideation to deployment and beyond, and then working as part of a team to execute new features or products. A DAY IN THE LIFE

• May take on I.T. lead role in projects.
• Stay abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.
• Maintain code integrity and organization.
• Responsible for technical documentation.
• Responsible for developing code that meet current standards.
• Ability to develop and implement functional solutions from specifications.
• Responsible for the implementation of security and data protection.
• Assist with development of application architecture.
• Provide backup coverage and support for team members.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• A college education in Computer Science, MIS or similar field and 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in database design concepts and techniques.
• Ability to design and develop solutions with medium degree of complexity.
• Experience using Vue.js or other advanced JavaScript frameworks
• Experienced with Django or other backend web frameworks
• Experienced with Python or other backend language such as Ruby, PHP, Java, Node.js, etc.
• Proficient with Git, or other code versioning tools
• Ability to prioritize workload.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems.
• Ability to listen and communicate to the customer, both verbally and in writing.
• Understand system interrelations and adapt to work with any system.
• Must possess the ability to work well with others.

The salary range for this position is $73,000.00 - $141,000.00

Starting salary and level of position will depend on level of experience.

This position is not eligible for tips or commission but may be eligible for additional bonuses

Fully remote work involves important payroll and legal considerations for the company. IMT has identified eligible states of residence for continued employment with IMT. Eligible states include: Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington, and Wisconsin.
