SYSTEMS ARCHITECT

IMT Insurance is looking for a Systems Architect who will maintain IMT’s network and servers to provide ongoing support to IMT’s end users with the information and software tools necessary to complete their jobs. This individual will help select appropriate user-friendly tools and provide guidelines and education for maximum results. A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Design, implement and maintain Local Area Networks, remote access, WAN and wireless/mobile technology.
  • Make recommendations for purchasing of software and hardware for IMT.
  • Train, provide IS resources and technical assistance to users as required.
  • Maintain product documentation.
  • Monitor and report licenses on applications to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure the procedures and solutions for backup and recovery of Local and Wide Area Networks are properly documented, functioning properly and tested regularly.
  • Administer various Office 365 and Azure tools.
  • Administration and configuration of Exchange and SharePoint Online.
  • Maintain cloud phone system.
  • Oversee print server and printer/fax environment.
  • Select appropriate user-friendly tools and provide guidelines along with education to produce maximum results.
  • Provide backup coverage and support for all Network Services team members.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be detail oriented while maintaining accuracy.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Ability to listen and communicate to the customer, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to advise and guide customers on products and functions.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and simultaneously handle multiple projects.
  • Must understand core server infrastructure including but not limited to DNS, DHCP, SNMP, & Certificates.
  • Operating Systems: Windows (desktop and servers) required. MacOS and Linux a plus.
  • Cisco networking background a plus.
  • Must be familiar with a VMware virtual environment.
  • Experience with enterprise grade firewalls a plus.
  • Understand and maintain Active Directory/Entra ID Management and Windows group policy.
  • Maintain technical expertise and knowledge of current trends and techniques in the market.
  • Understand system interrelations and adapt to work with any system.
  • Ability to perform physical activities of reaching, stretching, bending and moderate lifting.
  • Must possess the ability to work well with others. Including mentoring/training less experienced staff.
  • A college education in Computer Science, MIS or similar field and 2-4 years of relevant experience.

The salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $141,000.00

Starting salary and level of position will depend on level of experience.

This position is not eligible for tips or commission but may be eligible for additional bonuses
