Wasko Cabinetry Celebrates One Year in Carlisle

CARLISLE, Iowa – Wasko Cabinetry is proud to celebrate its first year serving the Carlisle and Des Moines metro communities from its showroom located at 240 S. 1st Street in Carlisle.

Since opening its doors, Wasko Cabinetry has welcomed homeowners, builders, and remodelers looking for high-quality, Amish-built cabinetry and personalized customer service.

While the Carlisle showroom is celebrating its first anniversary, the Wasko family's commitment to serving customers and communities spans more than 21 years. Susan and Joe Wasko have proudly own and operate Wasko Hardware and its kitchen and bath showroom in Keosauqua, Iowa, since 2005.

As a small, family-owned business, Wasko Cabinetry was built on the belief that taking care of customers and giving back to the community always comes first. Over the years, the Wasko’s have been honored to help thousands of families with their homes while supporting local organizations, schools, and community events.  Susan has long been committed to serving her community, having served as past president of both the Keosauqua Chamber and the Keosauqua Rotary Club. She was honored to receive Rotary's Paul Harris Fellow Award and was recognized as Keosauqua Citizen of the Year in 2014 for her dedication and service to the community.

"We are incredibly grateful for the support we've received from the Carlisle community and the entire Des Moines metro area during our first year," said Susan Wasko, owner of Wasko Cabinetry. "While our Carlisle showroom is only a year old, our values haven't changed. Being a family business means building relationships, treating people like neighbors, and helping create homes that families can enjoy for years to come."

Wasko Cabinetry has built a reputation for offering custom cabinetry that is 100% solid wood, Amish-built in Southeast Iowa, and backed by exceptional customer service. The showroom features kitchen and bath cabinetry, Cambria countertops, faucets, sinks, cabinet hardware, and design services to help customers create spaces they love.

During its first year in Carlisle, Wasko Cabinetry has completed projects throughout Iowa and surrounding states while continuing to offer free estimates, 3D designs, and personalized service that sets the company apart.

"As we begin our second year in Carlisle, we look forward to continuing to grow, building new relationships, and helping even more homeowners bring their dream kitchens and bathrooms to life," said Wasko.

Wasko Cabinetry also operates a showroom in Keosauqua, Iowa, and remains committed to providing what they proudly call "old-fashioned customer service with a personal touch" to every customer who walks through their doors.

As Wasko Cabinetry begins its second year in Carlisle, the Wasko family remains committed to the same values that have guided them for more than two decades—providing exceptional customer service, quality products, and giving back to the communities that have supported them every step of the way.
