WDM Chamber to Represent at ACCE Annual Conference in New Orleans

WEST DES MOINES, IA (July 14, 2026) – The West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce (WDM Chamber) announced that Katherine Harrington, President & CEO of the WDM Chamber and President of the WDM Chamber Foundation, Everett Mullican, Director of Marketing, and Anne Cooper, future Chair of the WDM Chamber Board of Directors, will attend next week's annual conference hosted by the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) in New Orleans.

The ACCE Annual Convention brings together chamber professionals from across the United States and Canada to share ideas, discuss industry trends and explore best practices in chamber leadership and community impact.

As part of the conference, Harrington will present the educational session, "Designing Event Experiences for the Next Generation," alongside Molly Crouser, Director of Events & Partnerships at the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce. Their session will focus on engaging young professionals through interactive programming, inclusive networking, strategic use of technology and social media, and data-informed event planning.

"This conference is an opportunity to both learn from and contribute to the national chamber community," said Harrington. "We're excited to share ideas that have helped shape our programming in West Des Moines while bringing back new perspectives that will continue to strengthen the experience we provide for our members and community."
