West Des Moines Chamber Announces November Luncheon: Nonprofit Spotlight

WEST DES MOINES, IA (October 20, 2026) – The West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce (WDM Chamber) will host its November Luncheon: Nonprofit Spotlight, presented by Bank Iowa, on Thursday, November 12, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Glen Oaks Country Club, located at 1401 Glen Oaks Drive in West Des Moines.

The luncheon will spotlight the important role nonprofit organizations play in strengthening our community. Business professionals and community leaders are invited to connect with and recognize the organizations whose work supports individuals, families and opportunities throughout the region.

“Our nonprofits show up for our community every day, helping families, creating opportunities and making our region a better place to call home,” said Katherine Harrington, President & CEO of the WDM Chamber. “This luncheon is an opportunity to recognize their work and encourage our business community to get involved. Whether through volunteering, giving or building a partnership, each of us has something to contribute.”

As the season of giving approaches, the event offers a timely opportunity to reflect on the value of community involvement and the partnerships that help local nonprofits carry out their missions.

Registration is $37 for WDM Chamber members and $47 for nonmembers. The registration deadline is Wednesday, November 11, 2026. While some seats may still be available on the day of the event, early registration is encouraged to secure a spot and avoid additional charges.
