West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce Achieves 1,000-Member Milestone

WEST DES MOINES, IA (Monday, October 27, 2025) – The West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce today announced a major membership milestone, officially surpassing 1,000 members—a reflection of the Chamber’s continued growth and community impact. So far in 2025, the Chamber has gained 187 new members, further strengthening its network of businesses and leaders across the region.
 
“When I first started as President & CEO at the Chamber on April 1, 2020, we had 592 members. It’s incredible to see how we’ve grown over these years through the hard work and dedication of our Chamber team, board of directors, and volunteers,” said Katherine Harrington, President and CEO of the West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce. “Our members are the heartbeat of this organization. Reaching 1,000 members is a powerful reflection of the strength of our business community and the trust our leaders place in the Chamber to connect people, advocate for progress, and create opportunities. We’re proud of how far we’ve come—and even more excited for what’s ahead.”
 
The Chamber’s 1,000th member is Mick Grossman of KW Commercial, who shared, “I’m proud to be the 1,000th member of the West Des Moines Chamber! The Chamber is such a driving force behind business growth and community connection — exactly what makes West Des Moines thrive. In commercial real estate, it’s all about building relationships and creating opportunities, and that’s what the Chamber does best. I’m excited to be part of this incredible network and to help more businesses grow and invest right here in our community.”
